This is current as of 10/1/25 - for the following DC fans with remote control: Sanur, Venice, Erskine, Anglesea, Bronte, Mooloolah
The DC controllers supplied with our fans can emit beep codes at certain times. Some of these indicate normal operation, and some may indicate faults. When the fan starts up and is in normal operating condition it will beep once. If the receiver detects a problem after this beep, it will emit a beep code to indicate a fault (see codes below).
In the event of an error state that cannot be resolved, contact support.
Start-up:
• 1 beep: Fan in normal operating condition
After Start-up:
• 1 beep: Undercurrent detected (software limit) - Power supply issue - check supply
• 2 beeps: Undercurrent detected (hardware limit) - Power supply issue - check supply
• 4 beeps: Undervoltage detected - Power supply issue - check supply
• 5 beeps: Overvoltage detected - Power supply issue - check supply
• 6 beeps: Wiring fault/incorrect load detected - Check the fan blades are installed. Check all the interconnector wiring. Ensure the connector contact is good and that all wires and connectors are attached correctly. If this does not resolve the issue then provide a replacement fan. Make sure that the Electrician knows that they need to also replace the existing hang sure bracket as this has part of the wiring loom attached. If they fail to change over this part, they will possible still have the same issue occur.
