We had a customer install 5 DC fans but only had a single switch for all units. They had unpaired all the remotes by mistake and needed to repair each remote to a single fan. This caused a problem since to turn on 1 fan to pair, all fans would turn on. All 5 fans were in range of the remote and all would pair.
The simplest solution was to unplug loom A from each fan receiver. Then plug 1 x loom A in, pair that receiver to the desired remote, and unplug that loom A again. After pairing, test the remote to ensure pairing was successful. This process is repeated for each fan. Below is a diagram showing loom A:
Loom A is at mains potential so it shouldn't be plugged or unplugged until power is remoted.
Normally the remotes all come paired so a typical install shouldn't need to repair. We would however highly suggest each fan have it's own mains switch.
