These are the steps to configure the IO6 to work as shown in the instruction manual.
Step 1
Power an IO6 and ,using the zencontrol connect app, open up the device in Standalone mode, Smart input/output.
Step 2
Configure Input 1 as per below and save your settings.
Step 3
Configure Input 2 as per below and save your settings.
Step 4
In the connect app, browse back to Select installation mode and select Wireless standalone mode. Then create a new standalone network like shown below.
Step 5
Power your IO6 and Dynamic Exit. Browse to the IO6 and open it to add it to this network. Save and exit out. Do the same for the Dynamic Exit.
Step 6
The process should now be done. Restart both devices to ensure the settings have taken affect and test.
To test the configuration, have both the IO6 and Dynamic powered. On the IO6, connecting Vin to IN1 should display the green arrow. Removing Vin from IN1 should remove the green arrow. Connecting Vin to IN2 should display the red cross. Removing Vin from IN2 should remove the red cross.
