Depending on your fire-rating requirements, a RISF rating may be necessary. Many installations require either an FRL or RISF rating, and some specifically require RISF.
Evolt downlights have not been tested to the RISF requirement.
Based on an assessment of the fire test report, if your project requires a product with a RISF rating and testing in a simulated ceiling system for resistance to the incipient spread of fire, the Atom AT9012FR is not a suitable option.
