The AT9012FR has been tested to Australian Standard AS 1530.4:2014, Part 4, Fire-resistance tests of elements of construction, Section 4, Floors, roofs and ceilings – horizontal separating elements.
The Atom AT9012FR downlight was tested in the most common type of fire-rated ceiling system under AS 1530.4:2014, Section 4, Clause 4.1.2(e), covering a non-loadbearing ceiling element that provides horizontal fire separation. This type of ceiling may be direct-fixed, suspended below a roof or floor, or self-supporting and spanning from wall to wall without additional suspension support. The fire test report confirms an FRL of -/120/120.
The installation must be carried out in accordance with the test report, which also requires the use of 200 mm thick Rockwool insulation.
