Activating Safetest – Evolt

SafeTest mode can be activated by following the procedure below.

This method is designed to switch all devices on the same circuit into SafeTest mode simultaneously.

At the distribution board you will need to turn the breaker on and off in the detailed sequence.

1	Ensure power is connected to the unit and that the battery has at least 20% charge.

2	Switch the power OFF and ON five times (i.e. 5 power cycles). Start with a 20-second OFF period, then leave 3 seconds between each switch. A phone timer can assist with timing accuracy.

TOTAL: 44 SECONDS

3	Once the power cycles are complete, the unit will automatically enter SafeTest mode. The LED indicator will flash amber in a 3-short-flash pattern for 15 minutes before returning to standard operation (see Status LED chart below).
