Marks, stains or dark patches on the light panels fitted to the exhaust fans are likely due to water ingress. This can either be from condensation or sometimes from shower water if the product has got wet.
Check that the product has been installed correctly, and that the product has a suitable weatherproof rating if installed over a shower (EG IP44 or IPX4 or higher).
Check to make sure that the fan is correct for the installation - this is most important with the Eclipse fans. As a rough guide, generally the smaller eclipse is suitable for a powder room only and the larger for an en-suite. If they are installed in too large a room, they will not move the moisture out of the room and it will collect in the fan and get into the LED array. Also, check the length of the ducting - we make it clear that the Eclipse if only designed for a 1.5m duct - longer lengths and ducting kinks may have the same result.
If the product has been installed correctly then authorize a warranty replacement - If Eclipse - check to see if we carry a compatible fascia - as this will be easily changeable by the customer.
