EV-RAZOR-SP - Razor Surface Pendant

Issue: Razor Pendant blade does not illuminate or is intermittent/flashing on and off

Solution: This is due to a connection issue with the cables that connect the Exit to the Surface mount gear housing on the ceiling.

This product is adjustable so that during installation, the drop of the Exit blade can be set by the installer. This is done by feeding the cable through two nipples that when the cable is pulled downward grip on, holding the exit light at height. These also provide an electrical connection to the exit sign. If these do not  pierce the thin outer sheathe of the cable correctly, the exit will not operate or may be intermittent. We recommend pulling on these cables to ensure that the grippers pierce the cable sheathing. Also stripping of the sheathing using a sharp knife or wire strippers may also help if this is still an issue.
